Jordan Alexis Fox

Jordan Alexis Fox is a dedicated attorney and experienced litigator with a practice focused primarily on family law. Jordan earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2016 and her Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law in 2020.

Jordan understands that family law matters are often among the most personal and difficult challenges her clients will ever face. She approaches each case with a combination of compassion, candor, and determined advocacy, ensuring that her clients feel heard while also providing practical and realistic guidance throughout the legal process.

Jordan represents clients in matters involving divorce, child custody, child support, legitimation, modification, contempt, domestic violence, and other complex domestic relations issues. While her practice is primarily devoted to family law, Jordan also represents clients in criminal law matters. Her broad litigation background allows her to confidently advocate for clients both inside and outside of the courtroom.

Before joining Hastings Shadmehry Family Law, Jordan gained significant experience managing family law cases from initial consultation through final resolution and previously led the family law department at another firm. She has served as first-chair counsel in numerous contested hearings and trials and has extensive experience with mediation, discovery disputes, emergency matters, and high-conflict custody litigation. Jordan believes in pursuing reasonable resolutions when they serve her clients’ interests but is equally prepared to aggressively advocate for them in court when litigation becomes necessary.

Jordan is particularly passionate about helping clients navigate cases involving children. She understands that decisions made during a custody case can affect a family long after the litigation itself has ended. Her goal is to protect her clients’ parental rights and the best interests of their children while helping families reach a place of greater stability moving forward.

Known for her direct communication style and strong courtroom advocacy, Jordan believes clients deserve an attorney who will listen to them, fight for them, and be candid about their case. She takes pride in making complicated legal issues understandable and ensuring that her clients know what to expect at every stage of the process.

Outside of the courtroom, Jordan enjoys traveling, attending NFL games and live theater, exploring new Atlanta restaurants, and spending time with her family and friends. An avid fan of musical theater, she is usually planning her next trip to see a Broadway show.
