As a Receptionist at Hastings Shadmehry, you will be the welcoming face of our family law firm, creating a positive and professional environment for clients and visitors. Your primary role will focus on exceptional phone reception, front-desk service, and managing client interactions to support the initial stages of our legal processes. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to exceptional client service are essential for success in this role. As the firm’s legal receptionist, you will be working with confidential information frequently and must be able to field legal questions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for and will take great pride in managing the client experience throughout their journey with our law firm.
Primary Phone Reception & Front Desk
- Primary Phone Reception: Serve as the primary point of contact for all incoming phone calls. Answer a high volume of calls, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate team members quickly and professionally.
- Warm Welcome: Greet clients and visitors with warmth and professionalism, ensuring they feel welcome and comfortable from the moment they enter our office.
- Positive Environment: Maintain a professional and organized front desk area, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all clients and visitors.
Client Interaction
- Client Engagement: Engage with clients and visitors, providing empathetic support and understanding as they navigate their legal matters.
- Information Gathering: Accurately collect and document client information during their first contact with our firm, ensuring a smooth transition into our legal processes.
Administrative Support
- Data Management: Input and manage client information in our internal systems, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

- Documentation: Assist in gathering and organizing relevant documents for client onboarding, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
