What You’ll Do
You’ll excel in this role if you enjoy:
- Preparing legal documents—drafting, proofreading, and organizing case filings, correspondence, and legal briefs
- Managing deadlines and filings—ensuring documents are submitted on time and comply with jurisdictional requirements
- Serving as the primary point of contact for clients—providing updates, answering routine inquiries, and offering professional, empathetic support
- Coordinating scheduling and case deadlines—maintaining a detailed calendar for case milestones, court dates, and meetings
- Ensuring compliance with legal standards—staying current on laws, court procedures, and best practices
- Accurately capturing billable time and activities
- Coordinating with courts, opposing counsel, and third parties to move cases forward
- Organizing and maintaining client files in Clio (our case management system)

Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field
- Certification from an accredited paralegal program (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of family law paralegal experience (or equivalent legal background with a strong interest in family law)
- Strong familiarity with Georgia court procedures and local rules
- Proficient in Clio Manage, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital file organization
- Excellent organizational, writing, research, and communication skills
- Compassionate and capable of supporting clients through complex, emotional transitions
