Stephanie Weil always knew she had a passion to help children and families. With both her mom and dad as attorneys, she knew from the time she was a child that she wanted to practice law. Stephanie was initially drawn to family law because her father was a Florida family law attorney for 40 years before he passed. She has fond childhood memories of playing in his conference room while he and his team prepared exhibits for trial. She admired how happy it made her father when he was able to obtain a good result for a client, especially a client who really needed help. Family law is a practice area she feels like she was literally born into.

After Stephanie received her law degree, she was a stay-at-home mom until a divorce led her to reenter the workforce. As a prosecutor in the 10th judicial circuit in Florida, Stephanie prosecuted thousands of cases from attempted first-degree murder to DUI Manslaughter and cases involving Domestic Violence. She was nominated by law enforcement for Florida Mothers Against Drunk Driving 2017 Statewide Prosecutor of the Year, was awarded Polk County, FL Mothers Against Drunk Driving 2016 and 2018 Prosecutor of Distinction and tried approximately 50 jury trials. This gave Stephanie extensive courtroom experience that has translated into her being able to litigate the most complex family law cases for families in all circumstances once she segued into family law practice. Her achievements in family law advocacy were showcased when she was voted “Best Divorce Attorney” for “2019 Best of Central Florida” and again when chosen as an “Elite Lawyer 2022” in the area of Georgia family law.

After a family relocation to Atlanta in 2020, she seamlessly transitioned into Georgia family law practice and has taken on countless complex family law cases with a specialty in high-asset divorces and contested custody cases.
